sacciu

E ora Attenti a mmia.

inattaccable dagli acidi e resistente agli chock termici.
coperchio in senso orario.

pulito.

English version of Tiziana Sanzone

Germany has returned to Sicily, overlooking the Mediterranean, directly to my house, in this shy spring lit by a splapito-moderate sun. No, of course that’s not anything new, ‘u sacciuI know but I do want to catch your attention by telling you some real news, about finum and me: I’ll let you take a peek at- taliare the devices branded finum. A company that produces a wide range of products for tea and coffee but not just that, as I already had the chance to tell- cuntarvi here.
But I dont’ want to anticipate too much, we’ll find out together, the shapes and colours genereted by finum, by going down a road that we will take mano manuzza-hand in hand.

And now Listen to me- Attenti a mmia.
I’ll start by showing you one of their brilliant ideas.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Tea Control; a teapot in borosilicate glass, lightweight, robust, resistant to acid and resistant to thermal shock. Aside from the beauty of design, which is evident, I would like to point out how the ingenious filter works: made of Tritan™ (BPA-free) that allows you to brew your tea and, after the desired time, leave it in the filter locked inside the “closed” compartment, by simply turning the lid clockwise. I told you it was brilliant! This teapot meets different load capacites; 0,4 l, 0,8 l and 1l
If the photos aren’t explanatory enough, here, on the finum site, you can watch a clip that will enligten you on the simple way it works.
Meanwhile you take a look- talìate, to understand more, I’ll make myself a cup of tea, strong and spicy, accompanied by some delicius apple treats.

Apple pies and allspice
for 17 little pies
180 g of flour 0
5 annurca apples
80 ml of water
130 g of melted butter
2 eggs
5 g of chemical yeast
100 g of brown sugar
a teaspoon of freshly ground allspice/pimento
a pinch of salt
Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core and cut them into thin slices in a pan, add water, half a teaspoon of allspice and put on a low flame. Continue the cooking process while stirring and turn off when the water has reduced completely. Allow to cool.
Place the butter and sugar in a bowl with high sides, beat with and electric mixer,
and add the eggs, while gradually stirring. Put the cooked apples in the blender and, if necessary, add a drop of water to thin the mixture and to help shaddering, blend until puree; add the apple puree to the egg mixture along with the remaining allspice. Sift flour with the baking powder and add to the apple mixture along with the salt, a little at a time and without mixing too much. Pour two or more tablesoons of mixture into the cupcake liners or inside the soft ones you can find in the proper mold. However do not exceed 3/4 of their size. Wash the remaining apples, cut into quartes, remove the core and slice them into thin slices with a mandolin. Before baking sink three or more slices in the dough. Place in oven at 170 °C for 20 minutes or until inserting a toothpick, this comes out dry and clean.
